They finally admit that Conservatives were right!

On Monday, the Liberals voted AGAINST the Conservative motion to scrap the Streaming Tax the Canadian Ratio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) proposed, where the 5% tax would increase to 15%. Conservatives warned this increase would harm Canadian creators, hurt investment in our cultural sector, raise prices, and hurt out trade negotiations.

Liberals told Canadians "There is no tax", calling it "imaginary" and "fake". 

This week, the government ordered the CRTC to review the tax increase, stating "this is not the time to raise the cost for Canadians", back-pedalling on their assertions claiming the "Cabinet does not have the authority to do what the Conservative Party is asking the cabinet to do". However, the damage of the Liberal streaming tax is already done as their unbudgeted $600 million subsidy will be paid for by Canadian taxpayers. 

Conservatives support Canadian creators, and will stand up for Canadians so that families keep more of their hard earned money, instead of paying more for yet another Liberal tax.
