Today, the Commissioner of Correctional Service Canada appeared before the Public Safety Committee to answer questions about the outrageous prison security downgrade of Canada's most notorious criminal, Paul Bernardo.
Last spring, the CSC transferred Bernardo down from maximum to medium security prison. This terrible decision sends the wrong message to everyone, including victims, their loved ones, and law abiding Canadians. If Paul Bernardo cannot stay in maximum-security prison, then which dangerous offenders and mass murderers, do?
