On November 19, 2020, MP Tony Baldinelli asked the federal government to commit to supporting an industry-backed program in Budget 2021 to help our Canadian wine industry, which is faced with incredible uncertainty because of this Liberal government’s irresponsible policy decision-making. No specific commitment was made in their response, which was disappointing. This is a very important issue for local wineries in Niagara and across Canada.
