On October 29, 2020, Marsha Walden, the newly appointed President and CEO of Destination Canada, appeared before the Industry, Science and Technology Committee. Tony was pleased to take part and have an opportunity to ask Ms. Walden questions about the conditions needed to bring about tourism recovery, including whether the federal government is consulting her on the development of a sector-specific tourism recovery plan, rapid testing, and other creative ways to help generate domestic travel and tourism during this pandemic.
