Yesterday evening, I debated Bill C-47, the 2023 Budget Implementation Act.
After 8 years of Justin Trudeau, the future of Canada’s wine, travel, and tourism industries are at risk because of higher costs and taxes imposed by this reckless and incompetent government.
Big Liberal tax hikes such as the carbon tax and the escalator clause on alcohol make visiting, travelling, and enjoying Canadian products more and more expensive. This puts Canada’s wine, travel, and tourism industries at a competitive disadvantage and limits the potential for a more speedy recovery and future growth.
I will be voting against this legislation.
