Late yesterday evening, I had the chance to debate the Emergencies Act. What has been happening in Ottawa for the past three weeks has been a political emergency for Justin Trudeau, not a national emergency.

Invoking this Act is unjustified. I am strongly opposed to its invocation under these circumstances, and I will be voting against it on Monday evening.
