Tony Supports Hardest Hit Businesses

Earlier this week, the Coalition of Hardest Hit Businesses announced that 60% of their members will not survive to the end of 2021, unless the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy (CEWS) and the Canada Emergency Rent Subsidy (CERS) are extended beyond the June 5th deadline, to the end of the year.
Today, Niagara Falls MP Tony Baldinelli asked a question to the federal government on behalf of Canada's hardest hit businesses. He was disappointed the Trudeau government still could not give a clear and firm commitment to those struggling most through this pandemic, through no fault of their own. Those hardest hit need certainty, and they deserve better.
